The lively amusement park, Tivoli World is something of an institution on the Costa del Sol and has been entertaining holidaymakers and locals for 45 years in Benalmadena.
Open Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm to midnight, Tivoli World is situated among fountains and gardens in Arroyo de la Miel and offers a host of rides, shows, restaurants and themed bars within the park.

Over 40 attractions include the Free Fall Tower, Twister, Cross Adventure, Go-Karts, Techno Jump, Dodgems, the Mystery Trip, the Ferris Wheel and the Mansion of Terror.
Live entertainment and shows include Mini Theatre, a Western Show, Blues Brothers and Dance Academies which take to the stages within Tivoli.

Lasagne, pizzas, pastas and salads are on offer at the Pizzeria Capri and the Golden Dragon offers delicious Chinese food overlooking Tivoli Lake. Admission Prices
General individual entry is €7.95. Adults over 65 and children under 1 metre tall get free admission. A special pass can be purchased for €14.95 which allows unlimited use of 35 attractions.
The Tivolino tickets can be purchased at a price of €3 each for individual rides and attractions once inside the park.
Cable Cars at Tivoli
One of the most popular tourist attractions in Benalmadena is the aerial cable cars which start and finish next to Tivoli World.
Climbing over 2,600 metres to the top of Mount Calamorro, this aeriel trip takes about 15 minutes each way and the views on the way up are stunning.
Once you arrive at the summit of the mountain, the fun really starts. The price of the trip during summer includes a birds of prey exhibition, which lasts approximately 45 minutes. Watch vultures, and falcons flying against a backdrop of mountains with views over the Mediterranean below.
For the more energetic visitors, several paths and trails are marked out around the mountains so you can explore the area at your leisure. A café is also open offering light refreshments, where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings, before taking your return trip to town.
